Nexus is committed to creating opportunities and skills development for the local workforce by providing fair and equal opportunity to tender for work packages.

The project is using Industry Capability Network (ICN) Gateway as part of the procurement process.

ICN Gateway is an online platform connecting suppliers with project owners and procurement managers, and is widely used and recognised in the sector.

Local suppliers and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to submit partial scopes on ICN if they do not qualify for a major package.

For more information and packages of work currently available, visit ICN Gateway.

How do I supply goods and services not listed on ICN Gateway?

Nexus Delivery will liaise directly with companies for items not listed in packages on ICN Gateway, for example printing and stationery.

With regard to demand for goods and services, Nexus has indicated construction projects of the size and scale of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing are typically ‘back-end loaded’, in which demand for local content will grow as the works progress and peak towards the back end of the construction phase, when demand is highest for materials and labour.
