Flashback Friday:
Two years ago this month, the TSRC viaduct’s first Super T girder was launched. This exciting milestone was achieved within a tight window during a routine shut down of the Queensland Rail corridor.
To complete the final stage of the bridge deck on the viaduct, 242 Super T girders were launched using a launching truss gantry which picked up the girders and fed them through the back of the gantry into position.
As the main structure of the TSRC project, the 800m long, 60m high TSRC viaduct is located east of the New England Highway. It was completed in December 2018.

Nexus never answer back on here they will pm you, could save a lot of the same questions if they did When is the due date for opening and how much is the toll going to be
So when does it open? How much will it cost? Why all the secrecy? How about keeping people up to date?
Certainly does seem like years ago they were installed. What is the toll rate for a standard car each way? Thanks

Meet Sam!
Sam has been part of Broadspectrum’s Civil Crew since December 2018 and is responsible for the general maintenance, incident response, inspections and traffic management of the TSRC.

DID YOU KNOW:
Broadspectrum has a Fleet of specialised fitted out trucks and utes to maintain the 41 km Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC)? These service trucks are fitted out with a crane and compartments to respond to incidents or general maintenance with spill clean-up products, tools, traffic cones, PPE and first aid and fuel for breakdowns.
This Fleet has been maintaining the opened western section since December 2018 and will maintain the entire TSRC when it opens later this year.

www.facebook.com/SciencePagecom/videos/422089588341557?sfns=mo Why couldn’t use work out a better intersection for the access onto and off the tsrc on Warrego highway west then all those mongrel traffic lights use have there. All the other bridges they have built on the western section of the Warrego out of Toowoomba and at Kingsthorpe in the last 2 years has ramps and it doesn’t hold traffic up at all.
Any idea when? Waiting to use it to go south.
